Everyday gear, tested · Lume-Trixa

I'm Alex Moreno. I spend my own money on the products that keep showing up in ads, use them for weeks instead of an afternoon, and then go and read what the research actually says about the idea behind them.

I write the result in plain English: what the thing does, what it does not do, and whether the price makes sense. No breathless before-and-after, no miracle claims, and no pretending a gadget is a treatment.

⚠️
Important

I am not a doctor, podiatrist or physiotherapist. When I write about products for your feet and legs, I am writing about the product and about published research, not about you. Pain that keeps getting worse, or any new numbness, swelling or wound on the foot, is a reason to see a clinician in person, and no insole or massager changes that.

How I work

Every guide here starts from a question a real person types into a search box, not from a product I want to sell you. I answer it in the first paragraph, then show the work.

When I mention research, I name it: the authors, the journal and the year, so you can go and read the same thing I read. When a popular product idea underperformed in the trials, I say so, because you will find that out eventually and I would rather you found it here. And when a product is meant to help with something physical, I keep the claim tied to what was actually measured in a study, not to the brand on the box.

What I will not do is tell you a gadget replaces getting something looked at. If a symptom is changing or getting worse, that is a conversation with a professional, and no purchase changes that.
